David Lee Lewis

David Lee Lewis age 65 of Perrysburg, OH passed away peacefully on February 22, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Dave was born in Toledo on September 13, 1949 to Charles and Kathryn (Henzler) Lewis. Dave was a graduate of Waite High School and served as their mascot. He was employed at the Ford Motor Company, Maumee as an journeyman electrician for many years. Dave was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Stonyridge, OH and was active in Boy Scouts of America and earned his Eagle Scout and Vigil Honor Order of the Arrow. He enjoyed fishing, golf, home projects; pool parties, and was an avid Harley motorcyclist. Dave was also a licensed pilot but above all, he enjoyed joking and spending time with his family. Surviving is his loving wife, Sharon; daughter, Amanda Lewis; grandchildren, Austin and Alex; brothers, Paul (Darlene) and Mike (Julia) Lewis; brothers in-law, Tim (Sue) Fry and Jim (Karen) Fry. Also surviving are his nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Dave was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray and Jerry Lewis. Family and friends may visit the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St., Maumee on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 PM where services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM.
