David L. Miller, 72, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away on, Monday, August 02, 2010 at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Main Campus, Sandusky, OH. David was born on July 08, 1938, in Port Clinton, OH, the son of Nelson Allen and Ethal Willie Miller. On November 03, 1962 in Port Clinton, OH, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, David married Leandra J. Danko and she survives. David served in the U. S. Air Force from December 19, 1956 until December 08, 1960. He worked as a laborer for the Port Clinton City School system for over 25 years until his retirement in 2007. David loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Wife of 47 years: Leandra J. Miller of Port Clinton, OH; Daughter: Kayleen Robert Daup of Oak Harbor, OH; Son: Allen J. Michelle Miller of Oak Harbor, OH; 5 Grandchildren: Kenneth Daup, U.S.M.C., Kelly Daup, Stephanie Sivinski, Allen Miller, U.S.M.C. and Danielle Miller; Brother: Eugene Onie Miller of Berea, OH. David was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Ralph Miller. Visitation will be from 2-4 & 6-8, Thursday, August 05, 2010 and 2-4 & 6-8, Friday, August 06, 2010 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Port Clinton, OH.
