David Charles Kunz

David Charles Kunz age 63 went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, January 27, 2015 due to heart complications. David was born in Toledo, OH on February 17, 1951 to Robert and Ruth Kunz and was raised in Maumee, OH. He graduated from Maumee High School in 1969 where he played football and wrestled. David enlisted in the US Air Force and served from 1970 to 1974. He was married to his beloved wife Caryl for 27 precious years. David was Gods special angel that blessed all of his loved ones; he was a man of honor with a God-given understanding of scripture, and a spirit of eagerness to help others. David possessed a wealth of knowledge on many topics, he loved to read, and was an avid historian, gifted with an eloquence in communications. He worked/strived diligently throughout his career as a manager, and commercial driver and trainer earning him the Million Mile Excellence driving award. David will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. See you in the morning my love. Caryl Surviving is his loving wife, Caryl; brother, Alan (Martha) Kunz; sisters, Denise (Steve) Crews and Diane Wagoner. Also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews and loved ones. David was preceded in death by his parents. Family and friends will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St., Maumee on Saturday, January 31, 2015 from 12 noon until the time of service at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
