David Mark Kraemer, 69, of Northwood, OH passed away Friday, April 5, 2024 at his residence after a lengthy illness. He was born on September 11, 1954 in Toledo, OH to Charles S. and Dorothy (Kutz) Kraemer. He attended St. Agnes Elementary School and graduated from Start High School. David started out working for Spangler Candy Co. with his dad, then for Toledo Mental Health for 5 years, and then for The University of Toledo Medical College for 38 years before retiring. David was a beacon of light to all that knew him.
David was an amazing, loving, caring husband and father. His son Joe was the light of his life. David was a very kindhearted, soft spoken, selfless man who would always help anyone in need of a helping hand. He touched many lives and was respected and admired by the countless people that knew him. He would volunteer his time in any capacity to his home group, the family of Bill and Bob.
David is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Robin S. Wieczorek, son, Joseph (Cristy) Kraemer, stepsons, Dale Tremmel and Corey Canterberry, adopted daughters, Shannon (Chris) Cherniski and Mekenze (Alex) Williams, siblings, Thomas (Catherine) Krall, Charles “Chuck” (Gerry) Kraemer, and Stanley “Stan” Kraemer, nieces, Jennifer (TJ) Hunt and Stephanie (Mike) Smith, niece & Goddaughter, Suzie (Matt) Wies, niece, Shannon Kraemer, nephew, Tim (Allison) Krall, sister-in-law & brother-in-law, Kelly (William) Bradfield, nephew, Bryan (Becca) Bradfield, nephew, Joseph (Chelsea) Bradfield, niece, Caitlyn Bradfield, 13 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and special friends, Matt Vincent, Tom Leahy, and members of the Wayne Group, which he was friends with for 42 years. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Rosemary Matuszewski, sister-in-law, Robin Kraemer, and nephew, Shane Kraemer.
Visitation for David will be Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 2-7 p.m. at the Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Road, Rossford, OH. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Thursday, April 11, 2024 at the funeral home with a private burial to take place.
