David R. Kalvitz

David R. Kalvitz, 51, of Indianapolis, IN and formerly of Perrysburg, OH died Tuesday, May 27, in Indianapolis. He was born in Cleveland, OH on February 21, 1963 to Richard and May (Marsh) Kalvitz. David was a graduate of Perrysburg High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a truck driver for Enterprise Cargo. Dave's interests included, hunting, fishing, and being an avid Ohio State Buckeyes fan. David is survived by his sister, Diane K. (James J.) Kester of Toledo and was a 'Special Uncle' to Jeremy and Justin VanDyke. Friends will be received after 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, August 23, 2014 in the Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundry St., Perrysburg, OH 43551 (419-874-3133) where a Memorial Service will begin at 3:00 P.M. Burial will be private. Memorials may be made in the form of contributions to the Toledo Humane Society or to any organization of your choice that benefits animals.
