David Jon Fondessy

David Jon Fondessy, 58, of Elmore, passed away on October 20, 2020 after a long illness. He was born on July 23, 1962 to Dale and Edna (Stroshine) Fondessy. David graduated from Woodmore High School in 1980. He was a NASCAR racing fan and enjoyed attending country music concerts. David is survived by his sister, Cheryl (Mark) Ankenbrandt; nieces, Sarah and Emily Ankenbrandt; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. Burial will take place on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at the Harris-Elmore Union Cemetery, Elmore, beginning at 11 a.m. The family would like to thank Dr. Adrienne Sedlmeier and the Genoa Retirement Village for providing care to David. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Genoa Trinity United Methodist Church, 387 Main Street, Genoa, Ohio, 43430 or the Allen-Clay Joint Fire District #36 Genoa, 101 6th Street, Genoa, Ohio, 43430.
