David J. Reed

David J. Reed, 73, of Walbridge, died at his home Wednesday, November 4, 2015. He was born on October 22, 1942. David married Judy A. Quisenberry in Walbridge on November 30, 1996. He worked for 28 years as a truck driver for Roadway before retiring. David loved to golf and travel. He was also very active in his church, Northwood Church of God, and sang in the church choir and sing group, Lamp Lighters. David is survived by his loving family; wife, Judy; children, Christina, Ann, Cassandra, and Scott; step-children, John and Paul; sisters, Mary and Evelyn; ten grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Don. Friends will be received on Friday, November 6, 2015 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Witzler-Shank Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge (419-666-3121). A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at 10:30 A.M. at the Northwood Church of God, 3375 Curtice Rd, Northwood, Ohio 43619. Burial will follow at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions in David’s name may be made to the Cherry Street Mission, 105 17th Street, Toledo, Ohio 43604.
