David H. Hintz, 54, of Perrysburg, OH passed away Monday, October 06, 2008 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio Perrysburg, surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 31, 1954 in Toledo to C.J. and Patricia Murphy Hintz. David attended Nativity Grade School and St. Hyacinth Grade School where he graduated in 1968, he graduated from Macomber High School in 1972 and attended Carl T. Cotter School on Hill Ave and graduated from Owens Community College in 1993. At the age of 18, David was the youngest Electrical Contractor in Toledo. He worked for the former Doehler Jarvis, then with the Ford Motor Company in Maumee as a Supervisor and later became Superintendent for 30 years, retiring in June of 2006. Known as a golf nut, David loved to play golf and even had a hole-in-one. He also enjoyed football and was an Ohio State Buckeye and Green Bay Packer fan. David is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Weslie Innes Hintz; son, David A. Mary Hintz; daughter, Brandie Aaron Wagener Hintz; granddaughter, Rosalie Hintz; father, C.J. Hintz; brothers, C.J., Jr., James Marcia, John Sue, Daniel, Kevin and Keith Hintz; sister, Pamela Robert Funk; sisters-in-law, Leslie Dale Fritz and Melanie James Harmon and many other relatives and friends. Family and friends may visit Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee where funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
