David N. Henninger, age 76, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 30, 2018, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. David was born December 22, 1941, in Oregon, to Nelson and Frieda Henninger. He was a 1959 graduate of Clay High School. David retired from the Toledo Edison as a lineman, and has since worked as a truck driver for many different companies. He finally fully retired at the age of 76. David was a member of the Allen Township Zoning Board of Appeals. David was most proud of his family and spent as much time with them as he could. He is survived by his wife, Karen; a sister, Lois Brecklen; daughter Pam (Mike) Sanders, son Keith (Jill) Henninger, son Robert (Kim) Henninger, daughter Daven (Tim) Kruse, and daughter Kelsey (Andrew) Bryant. He also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Family, friends, and others whose lives David touched are invited to the Robinson Walker Funeral Home, 501 West Street, Genoa from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., Tuesday, April 3, 2018, to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course, just chat. His funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 4th at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials to David are directed to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E.
