David L. Hahn, age 76 of Perrysburg passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born April 3, 1940 in Toledo to Ken and Roselyn Hahn. He was a member of the 1959 graduating class of Central Catholic High School and also attended the University of Toledo. David got to do what he loved for 45 years..designing kitchens and bathrooms. He owned and operated David Hahn Fine Kitchens and designed and installed hundreds of kitchens and bathrooms in the Toledo and Michigan area and even as far as the Florida Keys. He always said that he never had a job because it was never work for him. David also built 13 homes in the span of his career. Even after retirement he continued to work alongside his son Eric at Erics business, Skeye Wholesale. The second passion in his life were cars. He attended car shows all over the country and also Italy where he toured the Ferrari plant. He owned many Corvettes, Porsches and muscle cars. In his earlier years, David was active in the Jaycees and served as president. Other memberships included the Elks and many car clubs. He loved rock and roll and live theatre, attending many concerts and plays all over the country and traveled all the states and Europe several times. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Gary, he is survived by his children Bob (Tara) and Eric Christopher Hahn; 12 grandchildren; and brother Ken Bud Hahn. There will be a gathering of friends and family at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St. Maumee on Friday, July 8 after 2 PM where memorial services will follow at 6 PM.
