David Charles Fackler

David Fackler, 55, of Toledo, passed away peacefully at Ebeid Hospice after an extended illness on April 10, 2016 with his family by his side. He was born on June 26, 1960 to Gerald E. and Carol A. (Davis) Fackler in Toledo. He attended St. Joseph’s School and later graduated from Sylvania Southview in 1978. Dave was an extremely talented, creative and determined individual who loved working with his hands. He spent many years employed as an auto body technician and became accomplished in airbrushing freehand on cars. Dave was also very artistically gifted in drawing and carving. Memories of David will be carried on by his son, Matthew (Sara) Fackler; grandchildren, Weston and Cali; mother, Carol; brothers, John (Stephanie) Fackler, Michael (Alesia) Fackler, Timothy (Mary) Fackler, Gregory (Cory) Fackler and Christopher (Sandra) Fackler; nieces and nephews, Christina, James, Samuel, and Jacob. He is preceded in death by his father, Gerald E. Fackler and grandparents, Estelle and Henry DuHamell and Joseph and Elizabeth Yerg.
