David M. Dunn

David M. Dunn, age 70, formerly of Maumee, OH passed away Saturday, February 2, 2008 in Bradenton, Florida. Dave was born May 26, 1937 to Miles and Virginia Jahns Dunn. He graduated from Maumee High School in 1955, served in the U.S. Army, Company B 709 Military Police, from 1957-1959, and retired in 1999 from the City of Maumee Water Department. He was past president and secretary of the Maumee Eagles and a member of the Elks, American Legion and Bradenton Moose. Dave enjoyed life, being with his family and friends, boating, golfing and was a loyal Ohio State, Cleveland Indians and Browns fan. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jerry, and first wife, Jane. He is survived by his beloved wife, Mary; sister, Sharon John Mockensturm; brother, Ron Cathy Dunn; step-daughter, Veronica Larry Marckel, Sr.; 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Family and friends may visit Thursday from 4-8 p.m. in the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street, Maumee, OH where an Eagles Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
