David Albright

David Albright, 67, of Toledo, OH passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Promedica Ebeid Hospice. David was born in Toledo on December 20, 1953 to the late Elmer and Ruth Albright. He was a member of the 1973 graduating class from Start High School. He spent his time as a dedicated Volunteer at the Thomas Wernert Center on Woodruff Avenue and eventually was hired as part-time associate. Apart from being a dedicated volunteer, he found great enjoyment in visiting Catawba Island and the surround areas, catching a Mud Hens game, and watching old Science Fiction and Western movies, especially those starring John Wayne. David was a gentle and soft-spoken individual who was an immense lover of cats and pizza. But, above all, he enjoyed spending time with family during those much anticipated family outings. Left to cherish his memory are his siblings, Carolyn Althouse (Jim), Jeff Albright (Martha), and several beloved nieces and nephews. David is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Ruth; John and Ruth Albright (Mauter); and sister, Sharon Albright (Richter). The family will receive friends during a time of visitation on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at the Walker Funeral Home (5155 W. Sylvania, Toledo, OH 43623) beginning at 5PM until the time of service at 7PM with Pastor Bill Baker of Emmanuel Baptist Church officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Emmanuel Baptist Church.
