Darryl Lee Gillett

Darryl L. Gillett, age 51, passed away Monday Jan. 9, 2012 at University of Toledo Medical Center. The son of Robert and Nancy, he was born Oct. 12, 1960 in Lima, OH. He was a graduate of Findlay High School. Following graduation, he joined the U.S. Navy and was honorably discharged. Darryl was talented tradesman, with extensive experience in carpentry, sheet metal working and metal fabrication. He loved the outdoors, especially fishing. Darryl is survived by his son, Garrett Gillett; father, Robert Lou Ellen Gillett; brother, Monty Fran Gillett; sister, Jeananne Gillett; step sisters, Kathy Rick Martin, Jennifer Zion; step brothers, Michael and Timothy Jill Geoghegan. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy. Services will be private.
