Darlene K. Valenti Kennedy

Darlene K. Kennedy, 76, of Rossford Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at her home. She was born to Samuel and Hazel (Church) Valenti on October 10, 1941 in Fostoria Ohio. Darlene married Roy Kennedy on March 19, 1974 in Swanton Ohio then they went on to raise their six children. More than anything, Darlene loved spending time with family. Other hobbies included puzzles, crocheting, and crafting. She also enjoyed listening to her son’s band and never missed a show. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband, Roy; her children, Renee (Joe) Phillips, Herb (Laura) Kennedy, Robert (Lisa) Kennedy, Daniel Kennedy, Lark Sadowski, Roy Kennedy Jr. (Lori Braunschweiger) ; 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. She is proceeded in death by her seven siblings and parents. Friends and family will be received on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Hoeflinger-Shank Funeral Home, 3500 Navarre Avenue, Oregon, Ohio (419-691-6768). A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Entombment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions can be made to the Wood County Humane Society.
