Darla J Francis

Darla J. Francis, 71 of Monclova, Ohio passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at Toledo Hospital with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 1, 1945 in Toledo to Edward and Frances (Ames) Baxter. Darla married Gary R. Francis on February 26, 1966 and together raised four children. Darla was a 1963 graduate of Rogers High School and for over 20 years worked as a courier for FedEx. She was a member of the American Legion Whitehouse Auxiliary Post #384 and Rossford Fraternal Order of Eagles #2322. Darla will be remembered most for her unselfish nature and her readiness to lend a hand to others when needed. Darla is survived by her husband, Gary R. Francis; children, Kim Francis, Gary (Teri) Francis, Ed (Carrie) Francis and Michelle Sullivan; grandchildren, Zachary, Jacob, Grisha, Nathan, Nicholas and Matthew Francis as well as Zoey and Regan Sullivan; sister, Bonnie Snouffer and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Frances. Friends will be received on Sunday, March 20, 2016 from 2:00 to 9:00 P.M. in Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, Ohio 43528 (419-865-8879) where funeral services will be held on Monday, March 21, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. Burial will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the American Cancer Society.
