Dante Robert Tamburrino Marty

On Monday, August 30, 2021, this world lost a pure soul, Dante Robert Tamburrino Marty. Dante was 30 years old and loved being with family and friends. A graduate of Southview High School, he was a friend to everyone. He worked at the Toledo Museum of Art and most recently as a patient transporter at the Toledo Hospital. Dante filled every day with energy, random facts, and love. Dante was known for giving the best hugs, being patient and kind, as well as his smile and infamous hair! He was a movie enthusiast and kept every ticket to every movie he ever attended. His favorite food was popcorn. It was common for him to even have it with coffee for breakfast. Survivors include his parents, Anna and Leonard Marty; siblings, Dominick and Lila; long time girlfriend, Meghan Burmeister; and grandparents, Annette and Paul Tamburrino. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Liborio and Madeline Marty; and his good friend, Shea Walter. A celebration of Dante’s life will be held on Friday, September 3, 2021, from 4 pm-8 pm at Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Avenue, Toledo, Ohio 43623. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021, beginning at 9 a.m. at Little Flower Catholic Church, 5522 Dorr Street, Toledo, Ohio. Nature and the environment were very important to Dante. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests giving a donation to the Metroparks Toledo Foundation, 5100 W.
