Danny Lee Messer

Danny Lee Messer, 60, of Genoa, Ohio died unexpectedly at his residence on Wednesday, October 10, 2018. He was born in Oregon, Ohio on May 9, 1958 the son of Calvin B. and May Bell (Lee) Messer. Danny was a machinist and was employed by Atlas Industries of Fremont for 27 years. He served his country proudly as a soldier in the U.S. Army. Danny always enjoyed a round of golf and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan, but his true love was his family. Danny is survived by his children, Daniel (Christina) Messer, Calvin Messer and Kristi Slane, fiancée, Terri Slane, grandchildren, Darian Messer, Trevor Esker, Joe Esker, Ali Shultz, and siblings, Deborah Dobson and Randy Messer. He was preceded in death by his parents. Danny had requested that there be no formal services held, but his family does appreciate your thoughts and prayers. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, Ohio, has assisted the family with arrangements.
