Daniel W. Wendt

Daniel “Dan” W. Wendt, age 86, of Marblehead, Ohio passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023 at Edgewood Manor Healthcare Center, Port Clinton, Ohio. At the age of 17, Dan enlisted into the United States Army. He later owned and operated Dan’s Gulf Service Station in Fremont, Ohio. Dan was mechanically inclined and could fix anything. Along with his loving wife Donna, they enjoyed traveling every chance they could.

Dan is survived by his wife Donna “Sally”; children, Marty (Pam) Wendt, Mike (Sharon) Wendt and Julee (Mike) Slane; grandchildren, Thom (Kendra) Wendt, Connor Wendt (Ashley), Sam Wendt, Evan (Gulcan) Wendt, Brianna (Jake) Moore, Madisen Cornell (Gage), Ben Wendt and 4 great grandchildren.
