Daniel Vasquez

August 31, 1946-September 1, 2014 Daniel Hop Vasquez went to be with Jehovah on Monday, September 1, 2014 at Toledo Hospital after being ill with a lung disease.  Survived by his loving wife, Genevieve Vasquez; son, Angelo Vasquez; daughters, Daniella, Diana and Blanca Vasquez;  father, Cresencio Vasquez; 12 grandchildren; many nephews and nieces; and siblings, Auora, Joann, and Larry Vasquez.  He was preceded in death by mother, Juanita and siblings, Manuel, Raymond, Jerry, Ricky and Stella Orozco. Hop served in the U.S. Marine Corp where he was honorable discharged. In his earlier years he loved his occupation as a auto body painter at Los Vejitos Body Shop.  He enjoyed riding his bike, walks, listening to his tejano music as well as the oldies.  Hop loved his family with all his heart and would have done anything for them! He will be dearly missed! Visitation will be at the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave., (west of Corey Rd.) on Monday and Tuesday from 4 to 8 pm.  Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 12:00 noon followed by burial at Restlawn Cemetery.  walkerfuneralhomes.com
