Daniel R. Skinner, 59, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away on Monday, November 03, 2008, unexpectedly at his residence. He was born March 09, 1949 in Port Clinton, OH, the son of Virgil and Betty Jane Zelms Skinner. On November 04, 1967, in Port Clinton, OH, he married Kathleen K. Cromer and she survives. Daniel was the manager of Sleepy Hollows Campground. He grew up in the Lutheran church. Daniel loved his family, motorcycles, guns, hunting and fishing. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. Daniel will be greatly missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Wife of 40 years: Kathleen K. Skinner of Port Clinton, OH; Sons: Matthew Suzanne Skinner of Florida, Jeff Michele Skinner of Hamilton, OH, Bill Angie Skinner of Fremont, OH and Chris Missy Skinner of Marblehead, OH; Grandchildren: Shawn, Lindsey, Rylan, Robin, Josie, Krista, Kyle and Karyn; Brothers: Marvin Skinner of Georgia and Mark Marsha Skinner of Port Clinton, OH. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Brother: Robin Skinner. Visitation will be 4-8PM, Thursday, November 06, 2008 in the Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30AM, Friday, November 07, 2008 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given in Daniels memory to the American Cancer Society.
