Daniel Lee Petersen Sr.

Daniel Lee Petersen, Sr,, 74, of Perrysburg, passed away Sunday, November 22, 2020 at his daughter’s residence. He was born on September 18, 1946 in Bryan, OH to Clyde and Muriel (Murray) Petersen. On August 15, 1968 in Fremont, OH he married Diane Kay Neff, and she preceded him in death. Dan served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force. He previously worked for Standard Products in Port Clinton for 18 years and then for Jeep for 15 years before retiring. Dan had a smile that would light up a room. He enjoyed photography, camping, car model building, and feeding the humming birds. Dan especially loved spending time with his family. Dan is survived by his children, Doris (John) Kirk, Debra (Terry) Martin, Angie Petersen, and Jessica (Joe Keough) Sadowski, 5 grandchildren: Trevor Petersen, Emilee Kirk, Caleb Kirk, Breanna Sadowski, and Chase Sadowski, 2 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, brother, John (Marilyn) Petersen, and sister, Suzanne Dougherty. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son, Daniel Petersen, Jr., brothers, Jake and Tom Petersen, and mother-in-law, Thelma Neff. Services for Dan will be held at a later date. Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Genoa, OH is assisting the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
