Daniel J Paprocki

Daniel J. Paprocki, 71, of Genoa, OH, passed away Friday, July 13, 2012 at the Heartland of Waterville Nursing Home, Waterville, OH. He was born on September 23, 1940 in Toledo, OH, the son of John and Josephine Makowski Paprocki. On August 3, 1963, in Toledo, he married Margaret Eble and she survives. Dan worked as a salesman for CN Construction Supplies, retiring in 2002. He was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Genoa, OH and very active in church where he was an usher. Dan was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Genoa, OH. He was a huge fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes football team and the Redwings Hockey team. Dan enjoyed military aircraft and WWII planes. He loved dogs, especially beagles and his dog, Zoey. Dans greatest love was spending time with his grandchildren. Survivors include: Loving Wife: Marge Paprocki of Genoa, OH; Sons: John Melissa Paprocki of Goshen, OH, Daniel Barbara Paprocki of Oregon, OH and Tech Sgt. Michael Paprocki of Cibolo, TX; Grandchildren: Paige, Grace, Nickole, Lindsay, Austin, Lance, Nathan and Allison; Brother: Paul Mary Paprocki of Toledo, OH and many loving nieces and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Chet Paprocki. Visitation will be 6-8PM, Monday, July 16, 2012 at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Genoa, OH with a parish wake service at 7:30PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted by Father David Ritchie at 10:30AM, Tuesday, July 17, 2012 in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Genoa, OH with prayers at 10:00AM in the funeral home. Interment will be in Clay Township Cemetery, Genoa, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Dan may be given to the Knights of Columbus, Genoa, OH.
