Daniel J. Martin

Daniel J. Martin, 68, formerly of Genoa, died Sunday, August 10, 2008, in Columbus, Ohio. Daniel was born April 6, 1940, in Toledo to Lawrence E. and Doris A. Schardt Martin. He was a Lake High School graduate, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era, and worked as a millwright in several factories. Survivors include his children, Brian Paulet Martin and Cynthia Joseph Walker both of Toledo, Patrick Katie Martin of Oregon, Lisa Martin and Rebecca Jeremy Marchand both of Bay City, MI; twelve grandchildren; and sister, Ann Marie Tom King of VanWert. His parents and son, Daniel L. Martin, preceded him in death. Visitation will be 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, August 16, 2008, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Genoa, with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place in Clay Township Cemetery. Memorial contributions for Daniel may be made to the family.
