Daniel Allen Erickson, 74, of Ottawa Lake, Michigan, met Jesus on June 18, 2026. He was born May 10, 1952, in Duluth, Minnesota, to Walter and Mary Erickson, but spent most of his childhood in Toledo, Ohio.
"Erickson" was a man of many talents-a dreamer and adventurer who could build anything his mind imagined. Yet the life he built with his beloved wife of 49 years was his greatest creation. With steadfast love, a gentle nature, and a desire to teach, he was the most incredible father and Papa, roles he cherished deeply.
Daniel and his wife, Pam, built a successful business together-one rooted in integrity, trustworthiness, and an incredible work ethic-and it blessed many lives throughout the Toledo area.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary Erickson, and by a granddaughter named Mary Erickson.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Pamela Erickson; his children, Walter (Elizabeth) Erickson and Keegan (Rockford) Wheeler; and his nine grandchildren: Ally, Isabella, Eve, Ezekiel, Xavier, Lucy, Noah, Genevieve, and Sullivan. He is also survived by his brother and sister, nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
Please join us in celebrating his wonderful life on Friday, June 26th at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 2649 US Hwy 20, Swanton, OH. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., and the funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Cherry Street Mission.
