Daniel "Danny" Lee Murphy

Daniel “Danny” L. Murphy, 43, of Toledo, Ohio has passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2022, in his home. Danny was born on August 21, 1978, in Columbus, Ohio to Carol Stoneburner. Daniel worked as a roofer and raised six children. He loved riding motorcycles, spending time with his kids, the outdoors, and being a grandpa.  He also loved his dog, Tank.

Danny is survived by his children, Melissa (Jacob), Evan, Mariah, Jaden, and Michael; his siblings, Larry Stoneburner, Rick Murphy, Lisa Murphy, and Richard Snell; grandchildren, Brayden and Landen Oakley; nieces and nephews, Shawn, Cassie, Amy, Dominique, Ricky, Nicole, Richard, Laythan, and Alexis; great-nieces and nephews, Ricky, Isaac, and Emma. He is preceded in death by his birth-mom, Carol Stoneburner, adoptive-mom, Ethel Murphy, dad, Rick Snell, daughter, Melanie Murphy, uncle, Larry Trischler, and grandmother, Josephine Trischler.

Visitation for Danny will be Wednesday, March 16, 2022 from 2-8 p.m. at the Walker Funeral Home – Oregon Chapel, 3500 Navarre Ave., Oregon, OH 419-691-6768.  With Danny’s love for motorcycles, there will be a final farewell motorcycle revving send-off at 8:00 p.m. to conclude the evening and all are encouraged to participate with their bikes.  Memorial contributions in memory of Danny may be directed to the funeral home.
