Daniel E. Butler

Daniel E. Butler, age 79, of Monclova, Ohio passed away peacefully in his home on Thursday, October 27, 2011. Dan was born on December 27, 1931, in Monclova to Paul H. and Marie Blanchong Butler. Dan was employed at Paul H. Butler and Sons as a bricklayer for 30 years retiring in 1987. He was a Navy Veteran and served in the Korean War and a former member of Roberts Chapel Free Methodist Church. He is survived by his children, Debra Dean Christie, Edward G. Sandy Harroun Butler, Marie Rick Ranville, and Paul H. Butler; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also surviving are his sisters, Virginia Young, Janet Sayre, and Janice Moore; sisters-in-law, Joanne and Doris. In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his brothers, Harold and Phillip and former wife Clara Butler. Family and friends may call at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant St, Maumee on Sunday, October 30, 2011 from 3-8 pm, where funeral services will begin on Monday at 10:00 am.
