Daniel J. Bridgeman

Daniel J. Bridgeman, 61, a resident of the Anne Grady Center in Holland, Ohio died peacefully Monday March 18 surrounded by his loving family and caregivers. Daniel was born February 22, 1952 with physical and developmental disabilities that prevented him from walking or attending school. Even so, he lived fully and was able to enjoy cross-country train trips with his family, visits with relatives, music, swimming, and frequent outings. Daniel is survived by his parents, Bruce and Martha Bridgeman of Port Clinton, OH, and brothers Paul of Scottsdale, AZ and Thomas of Ottawa Hills, OH. His sister, Rebecca, preceded him in death. The family extends their gratitude to the staff of the Anne Grady Center and Eber Home, where Daniel resided for 31 years. We all loved Danny. He felt like my son too, said Mary Haskins, coordinator for Eber Home. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Mt. Zwingli United Church of Christ, 2172 S. Medina Line Rd., Waddsworth, OH 44281.
