Daniel P. Bernhardt

Daniel P. Bernhardt, 64, of Oak Harbor, OH passed away suddenly Saturday, May 26, 2018. Dan was born on November 27, 1953 to Phillip and Reva (Meter) Bernhardt in Lakeside, OH. Dan was married to Cheryl L. Kopp on February 26, 1977. Dan was employed as an electrician at United States Gypsum for over 30 years and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Terra Technical College in 1988. Dan enjoyed fishing, camping, riding his motorcycles over the years, and watching movies. Dan was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Phyllis Glenn. He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Bernhardt, sister, Betty Garrison of San Diego, CA, nephew, John (Stacy) Garrison of San Francisco, CA, grand nephews, Evan, Matthew, and Christopher Garrison, brother-in-law, Craig (Rhonda) Kopp, sister-in-law, Pam (Jon) Boyer, nieces & nephews, Heather Boyer, Paul Kopp, and Amanda (Kevin) Sheehan, and great niece & nephew, Zoe and Colin Sheehan. Graveside services for Dan will be conducted by Pastor Deron Fourman 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 4, 2018 at Sackett Cemetery, Lakeside-Marblehead, OH. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Ottawa County Humane Society. Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor is assisting the family with arrangements.
