Dan C Cooper

Dan C. Cooper age 81 of Maumee, OH passed away on Friday, August 22, 2014 in his home surrounded by his loving family. Dan was born in Toledo on October 4, 1932 to Robert W. and Hazel E. (Flora) Cooper. Dan was employed at Interstate Motor Freight and retired from Warner Continental. He was a member of Teamsters Local 20. He enjoyed horseracing and spending time with his family. Dan is survived by his wife, Gloria Cooper; children, Sandra Lee Applegate, Pamela Sue Cooper, Terri Lynn (Dan) Harris, Raymond Daniel Cooper, Steven Michael Cooper, Karen Sue Mercurio, Gloria Jeanie Cooper and Keith Allen (Kelly) Cooper; 21 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Marilyn Boots, Margie (Richard) White and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his sons, Scott Cooper and Dan Cooper Jr.; brothers, Robert William Cooper Jr., Ted Cooper and sisters, Evelyn Tootie Ames and Shirley Herbic. Friends and family will be received at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home 501 Conant St., Maumee on Wednesday August 27, 2014 from 2-8 pm where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 am.
