Dale Bama Smith

Dale Bama Smith, 50, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away, Wednesday, December 02, 2009 at the Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH. He was born on January 02, 1959 in Oxford, AL, the son of Buddy and Louise Burdette Smith. On June 30, 2006 he married Daisy Clere and she survives. Dale was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. He worked as a laborer. Dale was a member of the Oak Harbor Alliance Chapel, Oak Harbor, OH. He loved all sports, especially the Alabama Crimson Tide, Falcons, Ohio State Buckeyes and NASCAR. Dale will be deeply missed by his loving family and friends. Survivors include: Loving Wife: Daisy Smith of Port Clinton, OH; Step-Son: Jeremy Katie Potridge of Elmore, OH; Grandchildren: Chase and Cole Potridge. Dale was preceded in death by his dad and step-brother: Gary Smith. A Graveside Service will be conducted by Reverend Clint Hayslett, at 11:00AM, Monday, December 07, 2009, at Restlawn Memorial Park, Perrysburg, OH with military honors. Memorial contributions may be given in memory of Dale to the family. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home Crematory, Port Clinton, OH, assisted the family with arrangements.
