Dale L. Drenning, 67, of Martin, Ohio, passed away in his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, September 27, 2015. Dale was raised in Kansas, Ohio, but was born in Fremont, Ohio, on October 10, 1947, to Dallas and Mary Lou (Yoder) Drenning. Dale Married Valerie A. Borders in Millersville, Ohio on June 18, 1966, and she survives. He was a supervisor for several area companies. Dale was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving his country in the U.S. Navy. He loved his family and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Dale is survived by his wife of 49 years, Valerie, sons, Todd (Jennifer) Drenning of Delta, Ohio, and Travis (Denise) Drenning of Wauseon, Ohio, ten grandchildren, Joshua (Niki), Jessica (Marco), Michael (Rachel), Zack, Jacob, Paige, Jared, Jordanne, Sean and Megan, two great grandchildren, Braden and Breah, three brothers, Harold Drenning of Pensacola, Florida, David Drenning of Fremont, Ohio, Dennis Drenning of Fostoria, Ohio, and his hunting and fishing buddy, Dick Reinhart; along with other aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many other friends. Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Dallas and Mary Lou Sam Drenning, brother, Dallas Drenning, Jr. and a grandson, Jacob Baumgartner. Per Dales wish, there will be no services. The family has suggested that memorials be directed to the American Diabetes Assoc., 300 Galleria Officentre, Southfield, MI 48034. The Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory of Genoa, OH is assisting the family with arrangements.
