Dale F. Cremean, 90, of Genoa, Ohio, died at his residence April 12, 2009. He was born August 28, 1918, in Lima, Ohio, to Franklin E. and Jenny Coon Cremean. On July 3, 1940, in Decatur, Indiana, he married Madelynne L. Zelno, who survives him. Dale retired as a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service after 20 years and had worked at Operating Engineers Union in northwest Ohio prior to the Postal Service. He was a member of the Masonic Paragon Lodge #788 F.&A.M. of Millbury. Dale was an avid fisherman and hunter and for many years was a rock hound. He enjoyed woodworking and was accomplished at the fine details from clocks to large items. Dale was also an Ohio State Buckeye fan. In addition is his wife, Madelynne, he is survived by his children, Jeffrey Iris Cremean of Walbridge, Judi Ron Leck of Bowling Green, Mike Sherrie Cremean of Wayne, and Dennis Ida Cremean of Toledo, seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. His parents and sisters, Mary Jane Foreman and Katie Kinsey, preceded him in death. Visitation will be 3-8 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2009, in the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Genoa. A Masonic service will be held at 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be conducted at 11:30 a.m., Saturday, April 18, 2009, in Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Perrysburg. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials for Dale to the Allen-Clay Joint Fire Dist. #3, Genoa.
