Daisy Weitzel

Daisy L. Weitzel, 81, of Rocky Ridge, OH passed away surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo after a lengthy illness. She was born on December 17, 1942 in Maysville, KY to John and Edna (Johnson) Pressley. On September 21, 1979 in Port Clinton, OH she married Richard “Dick” Weitzel, and he preceded her in death on August 8, 2016 after 38 years of marriage. Daisy worked as a security guard for Davis Besse for 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveling to Wyoming with her husband and family members. She valued getting to spend time with her great grandkids. Daisy really cherished getting together at Christmas time with her family.

Daisy is survived by her sons, Danny (Brandy) Kitzler of Rocky Ridge, OH, Donald (Robyn) Kitzler of Graytown, OH, William (Amy) Kitzler of Graytown, OH, 16 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren, with one on the way soon. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Linda, sons, James A. Kitzler and Robert L. Kitzler, and granddaughter, Tabitha Depner.

Visitation for Daisy will be Monday, July 22,2024 from 2-8 p.m. at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 165 E. Water St., Oak Harbor, OH, where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 23, 2024. Interment will follow in Elliston Cemetery, Elliston, OH.
