Daisy Mae Troxell

Daisy Mae Troxell, 90, of Millbury, Ohio, died Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Otterbein of Perrysburg. She was born on March 10, 1930 in La Follette, TN the daughter of Charles and Maude A. (Meadows) Moses. On October 3, 1949, in Harland, KY, she married Howard C. Troxell and he preceded her in death in 2016. Daisy had worked for the former First Lighting Co., of Toledo and later for the Hirzel Canning Co., but her true love was family and church. She had been a member of the Church of God in Cleveland, TN and later in Toledo, Ohio and had taught Sunday school. Daisy loved to cook and bake and was a very talented cake decorator. She created all types of cakes along with elaborate wedding and fruit cakes. Daisy is survived by her 7 children; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers. Daisy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Howard; 2 brothers; and 2 sisters. The family will be gathering at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, Ohio at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 to process to the Lake Township Cemetery, in Millbury, Ohio, for an 11:30 AM Graveside Service. Masks and social distancing will be required. In lieu of flowers, it is suggested that memorial contributions be directed to the family in care of her son, Howard C.
