Cynthia Marlene Whitaker

Cynthia Marlene Whitaker, age 63, of Toledo Ohio passed with her sons by her side, on March 8, 2013. She was born on August 15, 1949 to James and Alice Jean Bacome Bender in Perrysburg, Ohio. Cynthia was a homemaker and worked catering parties. She was a regular in the Toledo Peach Section in the 70s and 80s as a model and appeared in TV commercials. Cynthia loved the outdoors, music, animals, her cat Tit-Tat, and Gotti, but her pride and joy were her sons. She is survived by her sons, Jeff and Toby; siblings, Thomas Darlene Bender; Pam John Schreiber and John Dawn Bender. Cynthia was preceded in death by her parents. Friends and Family may gather at the Maison-Dardenne-Walker Funeral Home, 501 Conant Street Maumee, Ohio on Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 10am until 11am. A funeral service will be held at 11am at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in Cynthias name may be made to Senior Independence Hospice.
