Cynthia "Cindy" Staples

Cynthia “Cindy” Staples, age 67, of Northwood Ohio passed peacefully away on March 25, 2022, at Mercy St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Toledo. Born June 30, 1954, in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of William Korfel and Rita Noser, stepdaughter to Jim Noser.

Cindy attended Woodward High School. A dedicated stay-at-home mom for many years. She then worked retail at Target for 17 years and at Walmart for 15 years. A lover of animals, Cindy had many pets throughout her life. She was known for her loving and nurturing personality. Her family meant the world to her and when she was able to, she looked forward to her weekly Sunday dinners.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Korfel, Rita Noser, stepfather Jim Noser, and stepbrother Jimmy Dean Noser. Also, her beloved husband of 33 years, Larry Staples.

Survived by son Stanley (Kelly) Staples, daughter Amy Staples (Gifford), grandchildren Jaylin Staples (Kaylee), Tayler and Avery Staples, great grandchild Zara Staples and bonus grandma to Jeremiah Moore but she was an honorable grandma to many. She is also survived by her sisters Carol (Bud) Aldrich, Judith (Ted) Scott, Darlene Vasquez, and stepbrother Joe Noser.

Friends may visit at Oregon-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 3500 Navarre Ave. Oregon, Ohio, on Thursday, March 31, 2022, starting at 3 PM, concluding with a memorial service at 7 PM.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.  Online condolences may be shared with her family at www.walkerfuneralhomes.com.
