Cynthia Mulligan

Born on February 26, 1981, Cynthia Anne Mulligan left us much too soon. At 42 years old, she didn't have nearly enough time to leave her mark on this world. She did, however, leave us with some remarkable lessons that we will forever remember her by, and be grateful for.

Cindy was born and raised in Sylvania, Ohio where she attended St. Joseph's in Sylvania. She went on to graduate from St. Ursula Academy and left behind a legacy of a winning personality, being a caring friend, and a student no one could forget. Possibly her proudest moment in her scholarly career was graduating from The Ohio State University. Go Bucks!

After graduating from college, she moved to Michigan where she met Mick Mulligan, the father of her two beautiful daughters. Madeline and Delaney were her reasons for all the good she accomplished in her life. She would have wanted them to know that Mom always cared for them and loved them.

Cindy is incredibly loved and will be missed dearly. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Wayne and Mary Anne Foreman and Clark and Virginia Riker, and her aunt Lynn (Henry) Ochoa. She is survived by her parents, Craig and Mary Pat Riker, her daughters Madeline and Delaney and their loving father Mick Mulligan, sister Catie (Andrew Nyitray) and nephews Franklin and Edwin, and a host of loving family members including the Mulligans, Foremans, Saaris, and Yarders.

Friends will be received on Monday, May 8, 2023 from 2:00 to 8:00 pm in the Walker Funeral Home, 5155 W. Sylvania Ave, Toledo, OH 43623 (419-841-2422) where a scripture service will be held at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 11:00 am in Holy Trinity Catholic Parish 2649 US Highway 20, Swanton, OH. Burial will be private.
