Cynthia Ann Kimmet, age 73, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on December 30, 2022, at the ProMedica Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania, Ohio. Cindy was born on June 7, 1949, in Van Wert, Ohio, to Basil and Louise Alt. Cynthia married Dan Kimmet on August 14, 1971, who survives her, after 51 years of marriage.
   
  
Left to cherish her memory include her three daughters, Kim (Jamie) Sweeney of Jackson, MI, Kelly (Todd) Pike, of Toledo, and Mimi (Luke) Suter, of Bowling Green, Ohio; ten grandchildren, Abby, Allie, and Drew Sweeney, Ainsley, Reagan, and Brady Pike, Kate, Ruby, Will, and Gillian Suter; three brothers, Dave, Darrell, and Don Alt.
   
  
Cindy was a 1967 graduate of Delphos St. John’s High School and continued her education by earning a degree in Education from the University of Toledo. She taught elementary school for several years and left a large legacy when she established the Delphos St. John’s Preschool. She supported Dan’s career endlessly, which required a lot of travel and gave them the opportunity to make many wonderful friends around the world. She will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who loved her family above all else. She was a warm-hearted person and her generosity toward others was evident to anyone who had come to know her.
   
  
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 5, 2023, from 3:00 to 7:00PM at Walker Funeral Home – Sylvania Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 10:30AM, at Christ the King Catholic Church, in Toledo. Burial will follow at Toledo Memorial Park in Sylvania.
   
  
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Smile Train or Cincinnati Children’s Hospital.
