Cynthia S Cline,75, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday August 10, 2020 at Toledo Hospital. Cindy was born August 4, 1945 in Toledo, Ohio. She was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth (Glander) Kuohn. Cindy was a graduate of DeVilbiss Highschool where upon graduating she attended Mercy School of Nursing and earned her LPN. It wasn’t until much later in life that she made the decision to go back to school and earn her RN degree from Owens Community College. For those who knew Cindy knew she loved life! She loved to paint, draw and craft. She had a spot in her home for when the grandchildren were younger they could go and she would craft with them for hours. She also loved the outdoors and for those who remember her knew of her love of lighthouses. Wherever she went if there was a lighthouse nearby she had to visit it and climb it if possible. She was very proud when she reached the top of Cape Hatteras all 257 steps! She also loved watching her grandchildren play sports whether it was baseball, softball or cheer competitions. She was their biggest fan. But most of all she found joy in spending time with her family, friends and God. She was very active in her church and Bible Study Fellowship always volunteering to help in the Children’s Department. Cindy truly had a servant’s heart. Left to cherish her memory are her three children Tina Cline, Andrea (Robert) Balch, Thomas (Krisit) Cline; her four grandchildren, Tori, Ian, Andrew and Morgan; and her siblings, Eleene Barron, Charlotte Kuohn, Mary McWhirter, Daniel (Ruth) Kuohn along with many nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death are the love of her life, her late husband, Robert; her parents; and her Brothers-in-law Robert Barron and Pete McWhirter. The family will receive friends during a time of visitation on August 16 , 2020 from 4 to 8 P.M. at the Walker Funeral Home on W. Sylvania Ave. Toledo, Ohio. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on August 17, 2020 at 11:30 A.M. Due to recent health orders, those in attendance will be required to wear a mask. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Susan B Koman foundation or the Victory Center (thevictorycenter.org)
