Cynthia "Cindy" Tyson

Cynthia Lynn Tyson, 62, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away Saturday, May 13, 2023 at St. Vincent’s Hospital. She was born in Toledo on May 22, 1960 to William and Gretchen (Andrews) Steward. Cindy was a 1978 graduate of Rossford High School and received her associate degree from Owens Community College. She retired from Toledo Edison in the credit department. Over the years Cindy also worked as a sales consultant for Mary Kay, Schatzley’s Gems Unlimited, David Fairclough Jewelers and Impact Products.

Cindy was thoughtful, kind, and caring. She rescued dogs, cats, and volunteered her time at The Healing Barn. She loved animals and enjoyed walking her dogs. Cindy was fun, loving, and a great friend. She enjoyed playing bunco, traveling, and gardening. She had a beautiful soul, smile, and will be missed by all who knew her.

Cindy is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, Terry Tyson; daughters, Lauren Coe, and Hannah Tyson; son, Alex Tyson; father, William Steward; brother, Doug Steward; and sister, Holly (Terry Matthews) Steward; and many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her mother, Gretchen Steward.

Friends will be received at Sujkowski Walker Funeral Home, 830 Lime City Rd, Rossford, Ohio on Friday, May 19, 2023 from 2:00 PM-8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 11:00 AM. Memorial donations in Cindy’s name may be made to The Healing Barn, 27731 Bradner Rd, Millbury, Ohio or Wood County Humane Society, 801 Van Camp Rd, Bowling Green, Ohio.
