Curtis Busdiecker

Curtis "Curt" F. Busdiecker, 73, passed away peacefully with his brothers by his side on his 73rd birthday, September 30, 2026.

Curt was born in 1953 to Robert and Lucille (Shenk) Busdiecker. He was a 1971 graduate of Woodmore High School and shortly thereafter earned an associate degree in accounting from Davis College.

Curt enjoyed a long and fulfilling career in building supplies sales. Outside of work, he had a variety of interests that brought him joy throughout his life. A talented bowler, Curt spent many years bowling in leagues during his younger years. He was also an avid sports fan, proudly following the Detroit Lions, New York Yankees, and Ohio State Buckeyes. Curt especially enjoyed being out of the house and socializing with others.

For the last eight years, Curt received care while living with Parkinson's disease. Through those years, he was surrounded by the support of his family.

Curt is survived by his brothers, Tim and Jim Busdiecker; niece, Paige Busdiecker; nephews, Josh Busdiecker, Nick Settlemire, and Cody Settlemire; and many extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Lucille Busdiecker; sister, Barbara Settlemire; and nephew, AJ Settlemire.

A private graveside burial will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Robinson-Walker Funeral Home, Genoa.
