Cristina Ann White (Muir) completed her brief, but fierce battle with cancer on October 31st, 2025.
Cris is a much-loved wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, aunt, great-aunt, sister-in-law, co-worker, and friend. She was born December 28, 1959 and enjoyed life. She traveled the world, going on cruises with her honey. She loved the sun and sand, spending two laugh-filled weeks with her friend Mary in St. Petersburg, FL each year. And, like her mother Ruth, she walked daily. Cris loved to bake, blessing her family, friends, and customers with Grandma Wehde’s banana-nut bread, fresh salsa, her famous cheesecake, and a variety of cakes and cookies.
Cris was born and raised in Perrysburg, OH. Her successful careers include Sales and Activity Manager at Walnut Hills mobile home park in Walbridge, OH and Branch Manager at Automotive Finance Company in Toledo and Detroit, then Risk Manager at AFC for multiple regions across the USA. She was also co-owner and kitchen manager at the former Fat Jack’s Bar and Grill in Perrysburg, where she did a little of everything, especially serving breakfast on weekends.
Left to cherish Cris’s memory is her husband of 35 years John White, sons Nicholas and Connor White, brother Timothy Muir, aunt Elizabeth Adkins, cousins Holly, Mike (Sue) Adkins, Cheryl Descamps (Donna), Robin Failor (Mike), Craig (Iris) Descamps, Nancy Swigert (Allen), Beverly Wehde Palmer, Amy Whede, nephews Chase (Kim) Muir, Joshua (Jessica Eileen), great nieces Brooklynn, Josie, Lucy, and Maggie Muir. and loyal friends Dyan Kemley, Allison Rudder, Lisa Schnapp, and Mary Alverado. Plus, her many caring friends, customers, and co-workers.
Waiting for her in heaven are her mother Ruth Shaffer, fathers, Jack Shaffer, and Jack Muir and brothers Mark and Scott Muir.
Cris was a mother to everyone, providing food, comfort, advice, and loyal friendship. She was a ferocious defender and fervent advocate for her family and friends.
A tribute to her life will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025 from 3-6 P.M. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 222 E. South Boundary Street, Perrysburg. A private interment will be held at Fort Meigs Union Cemetery, in Perrysburg.
In lieu of flowers, Cris wants you to love and care for your family and friends, be nice to your pets, work hard, always be cheerful, and hope for the best.
