Craig Alan Varady

Craig Alan Varady 51, of Port Clinton, OH, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, January 24, 2019. Craig was born on June 16, 1967 in Dearborn, MI, the son of Wayne and Carol (Malewski) Varady. Craig graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management. Growing up he enjoyed playing hockey and was an avid golfer. Craig was an excellent chef and enjoyed cooking for his family. In addition to his parents, Craig is survived by his brother, Keith Varady, sister, Dawn (Scot) Taylor, niece, Whitney (Jack) Evans, nephew, Alex Greene, great nieces, Olivia & Ella Evans, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. A memorial service for Craig will be conducted 11:30 a.m., Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 2370 N.E. Catawba Rd., Port Clinton, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Craig may be given to Catawba Island Volunteer Fire Dept. Gerner-Wolf-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
