Born on March 20, 1974, in Toledo, Ohio, Cory Loeffler lived a life shaped by kindness, creativity, and quiet strength. On March 10, 2026, he found the peace he searched for throughout his life, leaving behind a legacy that speaks softly but deeply.
Cory was born to Patricia and William Loeffler. He was known for his gentle nature and kind heart, always showing compassion in his own quiet way. Cory had a deep love for animals, especially dogs, and found simple happiness watching squirrels go about their day - small moments that brought him genuine joy.
If it went fast, Cory loved it. Cars and motorcycles fascinated him, offering a sense of freedom and excitement that he truly cherished. Alongside that passion, Cory had a natural talent for art. Creating gave him a way to express himself, and those who saw his artwork knew it came from a place of honesty and feeling.
From childhood, Cory faced lifelong struggles with mental illness, a journey that was often difficult and heavy. Through it all, his faith remained important to him. He loved reading his Bible and had an incredible ability to memorize scripture, carrying God's word with him wherever he went. That faith brought him comfort during life's hardest moments and now brings peace to those who love him, knowing he is finally at rest in Heaven.
Cory is survived by his loving parents, Patricia and William Loeffler; his brother, Chris Loeffler; his favorite pup and loyal companion, Rebel; his uncle, Harry (Mirrium) Graetz; his aunt, Janice Loeffler; and many cousins who will always remember him with love.
Cory lived simply, loved deeply, and left an impression that will not be forgotten. He will be dearly missed and forever remembered by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
