Corey L. Truman

Corey L. Truman, 27, of Toledo, died early morning of Friday, July 7, 2017, at Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo. Corey was born April 19, 1990, in Toledo to Shawn C. Truman and Cyndi K. (Surprise) Sting. He loved music, especially rap and super heavy metal. He enjoyed watching his fathers band perform, 5th Ace. Corey is survived by: his father, Shawn (Tiffany) Truman, mother, Cyndi (Matthew) Sting; children, Rayelee Faith Truman and Anthony Robert Issiah Truman; brother, Christopher Truman and sisters, Terra, Emily and Elizabeth Truman; grandparents, Gary and Gerry Truman, Jennie Lassiter and Barbara and William Sprau; three step brothers and sisters; four nieces and one nephew, cousins, aunts and uncles, great aunts and great uncles; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Melvin and Mary Truman and Lois McGuire. According to the familys wishes, services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials for Corey may be directed to the family in care of Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 501 West St., Genoa, OH 43430.
