Constance L. Reau

Constance J. Reau, 68, of Oak Harbor, OH died Monday, May 31, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, OH. She was born on June 30, 1941 in Toledo, OH to Charles E. and Juanita M. Marquardt Mayer. On November 21, 1959 in Oak Harbor, she married Joseph A. Reau, and he survives. Connie worked as a homemaker, worked as a manager at the Comfort Inn, Port Clinton, OH for 5 years, worked as a filing clerk at Nationwide Insurance, Oak Harbor, worked as a nurses aide at Riverview Nursing Home, Oak Harbor, for 1 year, and also worked as a janitorial supervisor at Riverview Industries, Oak Harbor. Connie was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Oak Harbor and she enjoyed craft making. In addition to her loving husband of 50 years, Joseph, she is survived by sons: Joseph C. Lynn Reau of Oak Harbor, Robert N. Chandra Reau of Marysville, OH; daughters: Tina M. Thomas King of Middleburg, FL and Mary S. Reau of Perrysburg, OH; 6 grandchildren: Jessica, Heather, Christopher, Brittany, Zach, and Alyssa; and brother: Charles T. Mayer of Florida. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 4, 2010 at Grace Baptist Church, Oak Harbor with Pastor Richard Bickelhaupt officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, June 3, 2010 from 2-8 p.m., with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m., at the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor. Interment will be in Locust Point Cemetery, Oak Harbor. Memorial contributions may be given to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or Grace Baptist Church, Oak Harbor.
