Connie Hartman, 54, of Oak Harbor, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family on April 26, 2017. Connie was born June 14, 1962, in Toledo, Ohio, to Jack and Maryann (Lagger) McQueary. On March 20, 1987, in Oak Harbor she married Timothy Hartman and he survives. It has been said that the best way to tell the story of someone’s life is seen in the footprint they leave behind. Connie Jo has touched so many lives in such a short time. She loved her family and friends whole heartedly and unconditionally. She was simply a beautiful person, who would always put others first and encourage those in need. Connie was a firm believer in Jesus Christ her Savior, wanting to reflect him in all areas of her life. She was a member of the Oak Harbor Alliance Chapel, where she mentored young ladies and showed amazing compassion towards others. Her spiritual journey was quite an inspiration to all that knew her. In addition to her husband, Tim, of 30 years, Connie is survived by her children, daughter, Crystie (Ryan) Sigurdson, son, Timothy (Samantha) Hartman; granddaughter, Ana Sigurdson; mother, Maryann (Lagger) McQueary; father-in-law, James Hartman; siblings, Rick McQueary, Sue (Don) Revenaugh, Chuck McQueary, Sheri (Doug) Kelly, Karen (Dave) Hart, John (Joy) McQueary, Mike (Lisa) McQueary and Rob (Sharon) McQueary and brother-in-law, Jim Hartman. She was preceded in death by her loving father, Jack McQueary, whom she dearly missed and her sweet grandson, Owen Sigurdson . Cremation will take place under the direct care of the Robinson-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, Oak Harbor. A private graveside service for Connie will take place in Salem Township Union Cemetery.
