Colleen Zawojski

Colleen Marie Zawojski, 89, of Perrysburg, OH and formerly Rossford, OH passed away early Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at The Manor at Perrysburg, Perrysburg, OH. She was born on August 19, 1933 in Toledo, OH to Chas Franklin and Ethel Ileen (Hamilton) Rogers. Colleen graduated from Waite High School in 1951. On April 28, 1953 she married Daniel J. Zawojski, Sr. and he preceded her in death on July 1, 2002. Colleen worked for the Toledo Public Schools Commissary for many years before retiring on June 1, 2000. Her pride and joy were her family, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Colleen was an excellent cook and a warm, caring person with a good sense of humor.

Colleen is survived by her children, Daniel (Cynthia) Zawojski, Jr., Michael Zawojski, Mark (Beverly) Zawojski, Gregory (Kristy) Zawojski, and Stephanie (Joseph) Stahl, grandchildren, Dustin (Michele) Tigner, Amanda (Don) Turner, Emily (Amberlynn) Zawojski, Nicole (Clayton) Engel, Kara (Robert) Martin, and Abigail Stahl, great grandchildren, Rylie & Jett Tigner, Jonah, Audrey, Juliet & Reuben Turner, and Alaina Martin, sister, Carolyn Lee, and brother, Robert Rogers. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Suzanne Zawojski, sister, Betty Mowrey, and brother, Charles Rogers.

Visitation for Colleen will be 4-7 p.m., Friday, January 6, 2023 at the Sujkowski-Walker Funeral Home & Crematory, 830 Lime City Rd., Rossford, OH, where funeral services will be conducted by Father Scott Woods at 12:00 p.m., Saturday, January 7, 2023. Burial will follow in Ft. Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg, OH. Memorial contributions in memory of Colleen may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, OH.
