Colleen A. Reynolds Karstaedt

Our beautiful Mom, Colleen Karstaedt passed away Sunday evening, September 1, with her daughter Julie by her side. Those of you who knew her will remember her beautiful dimpled smile and her immense love for children. Colleen married her sailor, David C. Karstaedt, on August 22, 1943 and they spent 51 wonderful years together until his passing on May 28, 1995. She’s such a huge reason we are all who we are today. Colleen’s kindness and love will continue in her two daughters, one son and daughter-in-law, four grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. She was the last of her family of seven so this marks the end of a generation. We miss you already Mom but know there’s a huge reunion going on for you right now! We know you’re surprised at how many people have been waiting for you! You really were just the best Mom ever! A remembrance gathering will be held on September 29, 2019 from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM at 144 E. Fifth St., Perrysburg, Ohio 43551. Burial will be private in Fort Meigs Union Cemetery.
